However, Netflix has thousands of titles, so you’re sure to find some good TV shows to become your next fixation.
The crime drama, which debuted on NBC in September 2013 and ran until July 2023, is currently accessible on Netflix in the United States.
Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington (played by James Spader), a well-known international criminal, inexplicably turns himself in to the FBI in exchange for working exclusively with rookie profiler Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Keen (played by Meghan Boone).
Along the way, high-stakes plots and long-kept secrets are revealed as Reddington promises to assist the Bureau in bringing down a list of dangerous fugitives and clandestine agents.

One person from Reddington’s list is usually the subject of each episode, which teases hypotheses about Red’s real objectives, Liz’s secret past, and the murky dynamics at work in the public and private spheres.

“If you like crime with twists, there’s one bit older Blacklist on Netflix, I really liked,” was one of the social media comments.
The show has an outstanding 91 percent Rotten Tomatoes score on average over all 10 seasons.
The critics said on its inaugural season: “James Spader is riveting as a criminal-turned-informant, and his presence goes a long way toward making this twisty but occasionally implausible crime procedural compelling.”
The first season received a good 88 percent rating from viewers, some of whom had only recently learned about the show as recently as July 2025.
One admirer wrote: “Underrated,” while another said: “A great new series that keeps you on the edge of your seat.” The story slows down a little at moments, but it is golden at others.
Another user commented, “What I’m reviewing here is the entire series, all 10 seasons and 218 episodes.” “I must admit that it’s one of the greatest TV series ever, even though it’s a long run and occasionally rather ludicrous. Complete halt.”
With one viewer recommending it as a ’10/10′ series, the adulation continued on X, the former Twitter.
“I’m serious when I say that The Blacklist may be the best Netflix series I’ve ever seen. A second individual typed, “The crime, intelligence, and plot twist are just too much.”
