Tyler, The Creator seems to have begun the campaign for his forthcoming album with the release of a new track titled “St. Chroma.”
On Wednesday (October 16), the Odd Future creator surprised fans by releasing the tune and accompanying music video.
On Instagram, he labeled the video: “1. st chroma,” implying that it is the first track from an upcoming project.
More hints may be found in the military-themed film, which depicts a masked Tyler and a group of troops advancing towards a cargo container with the word “CHROMAKOPIA” inscribed on the side.

The proposed album title is also shown at the conclusion of the video and repeated throughout the song.
The Grammy-winning rapper uses a whispered flow over stomps and handclaps on the single, spewing braggadocious verses like “Really ballin’ in this bitch, I’m the hottest in this bitch / Give a fuck about no bark, I’m chasing dogs up out of this bitch.”
The one-minute and 24-second song crescendos to a soulful peak with guest vocals from Daniel Caesar before collapsing into a frenetic, hard-hitting rhythm.
HipHopDX has contacted Tyler’s crew for more comment, but has yet to get a response.
“St. Chroma” comes as a surprise given Tyler, The Creator’s recent statement that he will not be releasing new music anytime soon.

The multi-hyphenate hinted at pursing an acting career while commenting on an Instagram photo by friend and partner Steve Lacy.
Tyler responded to Lacy’s complaint about people asking him for an update on his upcoming album before even saying “hello,” writing, “[I] feel you shit is annoying, especially since I never said an album was coming.”
He then said, “[I] wanna be an actress lmfao.”
The 33-year-old’s most recent album, Call Me If You Get Lost, debuted in June 2021, garnering his second Billboard 200 number one and Best Rap Album Grammy winner.
A deluxe version titled The Estate Sale arrived less than two years later, including collaborations with A$AP Rocky, YG, Vince Staples, and others.
