Should one be unable to attend the Grammys on February 4, the Super Bowl 58 pregame performance appears to be a viable alternative.
Reba McEntire, the Queen of Country and current coach of The Voice, was named the national anthem performer prior to the big game on Sunday, February 11, the NFL announced on Thursday.

In addition to Grammy nominee Post Malone performing “America the Beautiful,” the preliminary entertainment will feature Grammy winner Andra Day performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
On the CBS broadcast, all three tracks will also be performed in American Sign Language. The national anthem will be performed in ASL by Daniel Durant, a former Dancing With the Stars contestant and actor from CODA. Anjel Piñero, an actress and pageant contestant, and Shaheem Sanchez, a choreographer, will separately sign “America the Beautiful” and “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

Usher, an R&B artist, will perform at this year’s halftime performance, as was previously reported. Last September, Usher issued a statement describing the Super Bowl performance as “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” and promising spectators “a performance unlike any they’ve ever witnessed from me.”
Sunday, February 11, CBS broadcasts Super Bowl 58 live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The NFL opponents have not yet been identified.
