“The Office” star Jenna Fischer has talked about her battle with breast cancer for the first time. She said she is now cancer-free after surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the actress wanted to share her story. On Tuesday, she posted on Instagram with a big smile and her “patchy pixie” cut, telling everyone about how she was diagnosed with stage 1 triple-positive breast cancer in December 2023.

Jenna talked about how hard her treatment was. In January, she had a lumpectomy to remove the tumor. In February, she started 12 rounds of chemo, and in June, she finished with 3 weeks of radiation.

She said that she lost her hair during chemotherapy but was able to cover it up with some beautiful hats and wigs. With this news, she’s finally ready to give up the wigs and accept her shorter natural hair.

She said that triple-positive breast cancer is a very dangerous type, but the good news is that it responds very well to treatment, especially if it’s found early.

Even though she’s still getting Herceptin injections and taking Tamoxifen every day, Jenna has made it clear that she has no cancer and feels great!
