Lil Baby just had a major publicity push before his two 2025 albums because of two fascinating and illuminating interviews. In particular, one was with Charlamagne Tha God, and the other was with Lil Yachty on his podcast, A Safe Place. Regarding the latter interview, the co-host of The Breakfast Club questioned the Atlanta rapper about Kendrick Lamar mentioning him by name in his Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” as Baby was one of several Atlanta MCs who he claimed Drizzy was “colonizing.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” name-drop, Lil Baby disclosed, “I ain’t really into, like, that side of hip-hop.” Therefore, I don’t actually\u2026 You are aware. Drake and I get along really well. fantastic partnership. Simply said, in any circumstance, why in the world would you say “me” if you and him were fighting? I’m not completely unrelated to it. [\u2026] Rap and st are my work, in my opinion. I don’t want to deal with that kind of s<\/strong>t at work. ‘What’s your relationship with Gunna?’ you ask. Additionally, this is a particularly intriguing response since, although mentioning his strong bond with Drake, he doesn’t really take a side between the two artists.
