Demi Moore has issued an update on her ex-husband Bruce Willis’ progress following his dementia diagnosis.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Willis stepped back from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, a language impairment disorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Willis’ family released an update on the actor’s health last year, revealing that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal degeneration (FTD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, many members of the Die Hard star’s family have offered health updates, most recently Willis’ ex-wife, Moore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore has a solid relationship with Willis and his wife, Emma Heming Willis, despite the fact that they are no longer romantically linked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Friday (September 13), when she delivered a health report for the Hollywood great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But first, Barrymore recalled working with Willis on Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, a 2003 film in which the 69-year-old made a short cameo appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The TV host explained, “When we filmed Charlie’s Angels, Bruce came and played on it, and he begins the film. And we got to work with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I used to know him as a bartender at Cafe Central! I’ve known him all my life, too. “How is he doing now?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore quickly responded, “Given the givens, he’s in a stable place.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore also discussed what she has been telling her children about Willis’ chronic health difficulties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Talullah, 30, are the daughters of the former celebrity couple, who married for 13 years from 1987 until 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore’s daughters, despite being adults, continue to benefit from her counsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“What I tell my kids is to meet them where they are. Moore said on The Drew Barrymore Show that you don’t hang onto who they were or what you want them to be, but rather who they are right now.<\/p>\n\n\n

“And from that, there is such beauty and joy and loving and sweetness.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tallulah shared a ‘sad’ update on her father’s health last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking to E! News, she said: “Our visits have so much love, and I feel it, and that overshadows anything else for me\u2014being able to connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I know he understands how much I adore him, and I know he loves me. I know how much he adores each of us.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She continued, “We are in a very unique situation because we have this platform. We all have a voice and eyes on us in our own unique ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I think it’s been ingrained\u2026how can we use something that’s painful or challenging or a struggle and create awareness about it or find the thing that could be supportive or healing for other people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
