On Wednesday, Rod Stewart was “absolutely gutted” to cancel his 200th Las Vegas residency event.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Illness forced the 79-year-old musician to cancel his The Hits event at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace hours before the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He posted on Instagram, “I’m desperately sorry to miss this 200th show celebration.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Most people can work with strep throat, but not me. I’m devastated. I’ve eagerly anticipated this concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
