Celine Dion is thought to be in the final stages of preparing a return to her Las Vegas residency.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After announcing her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome in December 2022, the artist canceled all further public appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She postponed a planned Las Vegas residency in 2021 after experiencing severe muscle spasms, and she cancelled her Courage world tour in 2023 to focus on her health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to TMZ, the 56-year-old is now in the “final stages” of securing arrangements for a comeback residency in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the publication, the Grammy-winning artist has been in talks with Resorts World for several months about starting a residency later this year or early in 2025. The concert is expected to be rather short in duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s almost a done deal. “She’s doing it,” one insider told TMZ. Another source verified that “she has a passion for getting back onstage, and she will do it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Celine’s previous Vegas show, A New Day, ran from 2003 to 2007, and it was the highest-grossing residency in history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was supposed to finish after three years, but it proved so popular that it was extended for another two years. During that time, she performed 717 shows for almost three million people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
