Drake Bell, a former child star, is poised to speak out about reportedly being a victim of sexual abuse on Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bell will appear in the upcoming Discovery show Quiet in Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, which airs later this month, to claim that he was abused by Brian Peck, the show’s dialect coach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bell appeared on The Amanda Show for the network from 1999 to 2002 until landing his own show, Drake & Josh, in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peck was arrested in August 2003 on over a dozen charges stemming from sexual abuse of an anonymous kid. In 2004, he pled no contest to committing an indecent conduct with a 14- or 15-year-old, as well as oral copulation with a minor under 16. He was sentenced to 16 months in prison and required to register as a sexual offender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bell has not yet revealed the nature of the abuse he endured, and the identities of Peck’s victims are unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quiet On Set is a four-part series that aims to reveal the harmful working conditions on children’s television in the 1990s and 2000s. It will premiere on March 17 and 18 on Investigation Discovery.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release issued by the network, “The clip reveals that former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell will be sharing publicly, for the first time, the story of the abuse he suffered at the hands of Brian Peck, his former dialogue coach who was convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bell was discovered safe in April of last year after the Daytona Beach Police Department in Florida listed him as “missing and endangered”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
