Marshall Mathers, Slim Shady, and Eminem are all the same person, yet to the well-known rapper, there is a distinct distinction between the three since they are all names for different aspects of his personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s no real secret here; he released The Marshall Mathers LP 2 years after releasing his fourth album, which was titled The Eminem Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rapper previously admitted to Spin magazine that he had three distinct personas\u2014one for each of his several monikers\u2014each of which spoke for a different aspect of himself.<\/p>\n\n\n

Eminem subsequently revealed to Time that, in essence, he is Marshall Mathers, a man, with a rap alter ego known as Eminem and a separate alter ego known as Slim Shady.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I’ve created a monster, because nobody wants to see Marshall no more, they want Shady, I’m chopped liver,” he sings in his song “Without Me” from The Eminem Show.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He hasn’t been very happy with some of the songs he’s done throughout the years, including one that he no longer performs.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

The rapper’s tense relationship with his mother Debbie is the subject of the 2002 diss track “Cleanin’ Out My Closet.” However, he later apologized for the earlier tune with the release of “Headlights,” a song in which he expressed his regret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The line “at the time I was angry” and the song “That song I no longer pay at shows and I cringe every time it’s on the radio” are included in the melody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The song’s lyrics also mention how his mother “got it the worst” and how, to him, she is “still beautiful” since she is “his mum.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
