Netflix will soon provide Raw.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WWE announced a “long-term partnership” with the streamer on Tuesday, the same day that TKO Group Holdings named Dwayne Johnson to its board. As a result, the streamer will become the exclusive home of Raw beginning in January 2025. The US, Canada, the UK, and Latin America will all be impacted by the exclusivity. There will be more regions confirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WWE President Nick Khan stated in a statement, “In its relatively short history, Netflix has engineered a phenomenal track record for storytelling.” “We think Netflix, one of the top entertainment companies in the world, is the perfect long-term home for Raw’s active, devoted, and expanding fan base.”<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to bringing Raw to Netflix, the agreement calls for the streaming service to become the home of “all WWE shows and specials outside the U.S. as available,” as well as documentaries and Premium Live Events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson and TKO CEO Ari Emanuel spoke on CNBC later on Tuesday, going into additional information about the significance of the multibillion-dollar, ten-year Netflix contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked if this cooperation indicates that Netflix is looking to get further into the live market, Emanuel responded, “I think live is important for them,” adding that it will “strengthen” the brands of all parties involved at a “global” scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Johnson, who has known Emanuel for more than 20 years, claims that there is “no CEO in the world” like him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“These game-changing deals that he’s making is a reflection, I think, of who he is,” Johnson stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
