Mickey’s Mouse Trap, a teaser for a Mickey Mouse horror film, was released on YouTube on Monday, when Steamboat Willie, the first iteration of the Disney character, became public domain.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When Walt Disney’s copyright expired, Mickey was not the only character who received the horror treatment. Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, a horror film, was released in 2022, and the parody novel Pride and Prejudice and Zombies was released in 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex is trapped working the late shift at an amusement arcade on her birthday, according to the plot synopsis. Her pals intend to surprise her, but a killer dressed as Mickey Mouse transforms their night of fun into a fight for survival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mickey’s Mouse Trap is set to hit theaters in March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
