Kevin Costner’s attorney is responding to the stunt performer’s lawsuit against the actor for what she alleges was an unscripted rape scene on the ‘Horizon 2’ film set.

Devyn LaBella is suing Kevin for sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in connection with the alleged incident. She has since amended her lawsuit to include alleged texts she purportedly sent to the film’s intimacy coordinator, including one in which she describes the alleged rape scene as a “abomination.”

Marty Singer, Kevin’s attorney, is responding and categorically refutes LaBella’s allegations.

Singer informs TMZ that “Ms. LaBella was rehearsing an Insert Shot for a scripted scene.” The scene was devoid of any sexual content or intimacy. While she was fully clad in a dress with long bloomers and lying down next to a male actor, she was tugged on a dress.

Kevin’s attorney further states that “Ms. LaBella’s meritless claims have been contradicted by numerous witnesses.” She personally sent a text message to her supervisor after she finished, expressing her gratitude for the amazing weeks.

On May 2, 2023, LaBella claims that she was “the victim of a violent unscripted, unscheduled rape scene” directed by Costner, as we previously reported. She asserts that there was no contractually mandated intimacy coordinator present on the set on May 2, and that Costner was “either involved in or fully aware of every single thing going on.”

LaBella claims in her lawsuit that Costner instructed actor Roger Ivens during the scene. She claims that Ivens “violently rustled” her skirt up “as if trying to penetrate her against her will” while “using his body and arms forcibly pinning [her] down.”

However, Kevin’s supporters are once more dismissing the facts.
