The jury verdict in the Diddy federal criminal trial in NYC could be rendered as early as next week, contingent upon the length of time jurors take to deliberate following the defense’s conclusion of its case and the closing arguments.

Prosecutor Maurene Comey informed Judge Arun Subramanian that the federal government could rest their case on Monday after the jurors were sent home on Friday. Diddy defense attorney Marc Agnifilo then informed the judge that they believe the case would be rested on Tuesday or Wednesday if that were to occur.

The judge stated that closing arguments could occur on Thursday, following which the jury would commence deliberations. This leaves the door open for a verdict by the end of the week, although it is considered early.

Additionally, it is feasible that the jury verdict will be rendered in the subsequent week, possibly prior to the July 4th holiday.

We are approaching the conclusion of the testimony, which has lasted for more than three weeks.
