While en route to a Father’s Day concert in Mexico, the entire band and their driver momentarily disappeared.

Los Juniors de Monterrey had already performed the previous evening and were one of five bands selected to headline a show at the La Kaprishosa venue in Guadalupe, Mexico.

The band was last observed in the city on Sunday, June 15, which is situated approximately 90 minutes south of the Texas boundary. They were scheduled to perform at a private concert the following day.

Two videos were posted by bassist Luis Dominguez and bassoonist Óscar Pérez shortly after midnight, reflecting the group’s active presence on social media.

The initial footage depicted numerous band members with their instruments at the bar, while the second was uploaded to Instagram at 3 a.m. and depicted the band appearing to be awaiting by their vehicle on the side of a road in the municipality of General Terán.

Pérez quipped, “Oh, just technical problems,” as he observed an individual in the video adjusting the rope on their 2018 Suburban.

They were not heard from again after the video was uploaded.

The names of the men who went missing were enumerated by the Attorney General’s Office of Nuevo León as Domínguez, Pérez, Abraham Ontiveros, Leonardo Rubio, Francisco Alfaro, and driver Lorenzo Martínez.

Fernando Martínez, the band’s regular accordionist who was unable to attend the concert that night and was being substituted by Alfaro, reported that all calls made to the phones of the missing were unanswered.

This is the final video of ‘Los Juniors de Monterrey’ before they disappear. Five of its members are reported missing after leaving a presentation in Nuevo León.

Martínez subsequently asserted that the individuals who had contracted them for the private concert were not “regular customers.”

He stated, as reported by The Daily Mail, that “new clients arrive at each club, and that individual was the one who contacted us. He is not a regular customer, and he confirmed to us that they did not attend the event.”

Karla Leal, Ontiveros’ mother, was aware of the men’s most recent whereabouts.

She stated that she had last heard from him at 2:30 a.m., when he revealed his location with her, pinning them on a road near the town of Cadereyta Jiménez.

She elaborated: “They sought to document a client’s event.” We are uncertain as to whether it is a new client or an existing one.

Nevertheless, the band members resurfaced on Tuesday without providing an explanation. Governor Samuel García of Nuevo León made the announcement on X: “The young people from the Los Juniors de Monterrey group are well and with their families.”

The group also issued a statement, stating, “GaD, we are already well and with our families. We are grateful for your prayers, and God will multiply them.”

According to Info Bae, a family member verified that they had sustained a few injuries, but they were otherwise unharmed.
