According to Willie Robertson, son of “Duck Dynasty” matriarch “Miss Kay” Robertson, her health remains unstable one week after her husband Phil Robertson passed away.

Saying, “Kay is not in the best of health,” Willie Robertson spoke to the USA TODAY Network on Sunday. “We’re trying to help her out as much as we can.”

“Miss Kay,” 77, did not show up for the June 1 premiere celebration of “Duck Dynasty: The Revival” in Monroe, Louisiana.

According to her son, his mother is also grieving the loss of Phil, who passed away on May 25 from Alzheimer’s.

Regarding his mother’s condition, Willie Robertson remarked, “She is just depressed.” “She lost her partner of 60 years.”

According to Willie Robertson, Kay Robertson makes an appearance in an early episode of the “Duck Dynasty” revival, but her health has kept her from appearing in subsequent episodes.

Willie Robertson remarked, “We have some sweet moments with Mom because she was on the show at the beginning.” In “The Revival,” Phil Robertson only appeared in flashbacks but did not make any fresh appearances.

This summer, A&E will debut a relaunch of “Duck Dynasty” with two new seasons.
Son Jase Robertson initially disclosed Kay Robertson’s health issues in April during the family’s podcast, “Unashamed With the Robertson Family.”

At the time, Jase Robertson stated that when his mother had fallen and became infected, necessitating hospitalization, he had feared for her life.

“We were kind of dealing with the fact that maybe this is it,” Robertson stated.

In 2023, Willie Robertson and his wife, Korie, produced the independent film “The Blind,” which brought Phil and Kay Robertson’s beginnings as a couple on the big screen.

In a prior interview, Willie stated that the film, which chronicled his father’s early infidelity, battles with alcoholism, and eventual restoration via his Christian faith, sparked spontaneous post-screening fellowship and worship sessions and baptisms.

Willie Robertson stated on June 1 that following Phil’s passing, the movie saw a surge in streaming traffic.
