Snoop Dogg also had an extra special release, as he dedicated it to his late mother, Beverly Tate. On October 24, 2021, she tragically passed away. While discussing the inspiration behind Altar Call, he declared, “The spirit of my mother will forever reside within me.” “This album is a testament to the lessons she has imparted to me, which is to utilize my voice and platform to promote love and promote healing on a global scale.”
