WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i, brother of Sika Anoa’i and uncle of current WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, died at the age of 81.
Afa’s daughter, Vale Anoa’i, confirmed the death on her X account, writing, “Today, all of our lives are permanently changed. Dad, I love you so much. More than words could ever convey.”
The announcement comes months after Sika died at the age of 79.
His daughter revealed that he had recently experienced health concerns, including two heart attacks and many major surgeries.

Afa’s wrestling career began shortly after leaving the Marines, with his first match occurring in 1971. Following that, he began training with his brother, Sika, and the two would eventually create the renowned Wild Samoans tag team.
Throughout their illustrious career, the two won the WWF World Tag Team Championship three times and appeared in various promotions.
Afa was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, along with his brother… and the two were later inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012.
