More startling information about the incident has been released by the family of a 61-year-old man who died after being “snatched” inside an MRI scanner.
Keith McAllister was merely in the hospital to help his wife, Adrienne Jones-McAllister, when he was pulled into an MRI scanner, which resulted to his death.
The incident happened on July 16 at Nassau Open MRI in Westbury, New York, and Adrienne, who is upset, spoke to the local media about it.
“He went limp in my arms and this is still pulsating in my brain,” she claimed in an interview with News 12 Long Island.

Adrienne was having an MRI on her knee when the two of them arrived at the clinic.
According to reports, Keith passed away from his wounds two days later. Although his family has since spoken out, other stories have claimed that Keith did not have permission to enter the room.
Adrienne’s daughter Samantha Bodden has created a GoFundMe page detailing the events.
She asserted that Kevin was not instructed to take off his chain before being sucked in, and that he was in fact permitted to be in the room.
She wrote on the page: “My mother’s husband, Keith McAllister, was tragically killed on July 16th, 2025, after being sucked into an MRI machine.” The technician went out of the room to call her husband to help my mother get off the table while she was lying on it.
When the magnet dragged him in, he neglected to tell him to remove the chain he was wearing around his neck. Before the police were summoned, my mother and the technician attempted to free him for a few minutes.
Before they could remove the chain from the machine, he was fastened to it for nearly an hour. After the unfortunate tragedy, he suffered multiple heart attacks and ultimately lost his battle on July 17.
“The technician went and brought him into the room, despite several news outlets claiming he wasn’t authorized to be there.”
Bodden added that her mother will use the money to cover the costs of burying Kevin.
“Keith was a husband, a father, a stepfather, a grandfather, a brother, and an uncle,” she said. He has many friends. He had little and was on a social security fixed income.
“My mother is currently requesting financial assistance to aid with the costs of burying him. Anything is really appreciated and would be helpful. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time.
