In an official statement posted on Astronomer’s website, Pete DeJoy stated that after ten years of developing this business, they have been put to the test numerous times and have always emerged stronger. In other words, they want to handle this situation in the same manner.

Peter’s hiring follows Andy Byron’s resignation as CEO of Astronomer on Saturday, following an internal company probe into their behavior after Byron was seen on camera cuddling up to Kristin Cabot, the business’s head of human resources, during a Coldplay concert.
