The new temporary CEO that Astronomer recently hired is already speaking out about the Coldplay cheating controversy. What was his message? The business will recover and resume operations as usual because they have experienced hurricanes in the past.
In an official statement posted on Astronomer’s website, Pete DeJoy stated that after ten years of developing this business, they have been put to the test numerous times and have always emerged stronger. In other words, they want to handle this situation in the same manner.
The attention has been odd for the team, Pete noted, because the last few days have been a media frenzy that most businesses, let alone a specialized data-and-AI firm, never witness.
He made it apparent that Astronomer is made up of individuals that thrive on challenging situations, thus by taking on this position, he is ensuring that the company’s foundation remains strong. He also commended the current staff for their tenacity.

Peter’s hiring follows Andy Byron’s resignation as CEO of Astronomer on Saturday, following an internal company probe into their behavior after Byron was seen on camera cuddling up to Kristin Cabot, the business’s head of human resources, during a Coldplay concert.
