In recent months, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese has been the target of harsh criticism from Robert Griffin III on social media.

On the Off the Record podcast, Shaquille O’Neal attacked Robert Griffin III in an interview with Bailey Jackson and Lachelle Smith. The iconic NBA star allegedly threatened to strike the former NFL quarterback in the face, according to Complex. Griffin’s recent criticism of WNBA player Angel Reese infuriated him.

Starting off, O’Neal brought up a recent tweet from Griffin in which he requested that followers refrain from sending him images of Reese dressed as a monkey. But he included one of the photos himself in the post. “I’m going to punch you in your fcking face if you tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese,” Shaq said at the start of Off the Record. It’s sufficient. Stop it, buddy. I don’t generally do things like this. You got your podcast and your job. Don’t bother my Angel Reese. It’s me who calls her and tells her not to answer. Stop it, fcking. Alright, that’s the final time. Thank you.

“He despises her. What the f*ck? Now that you’ve messed with her, I despise you. What comes next? “Tell me something,” he went on. “I’m the one contacting her and telling her to keep it classy, so she won’t answer. Because, by no means, she is soft. You’re a homeless person. However, I think, “You’re gorgeous.” Don’t spend time with these idiots. since he is a moron. He isn’t even classified as a G-14 to say that. If Lisa Leslie said that, I would respect it more. You know, that’s your category. Please don’t put yourself in other people’s shoes. You discuss sports. You don’t have to go deep, though, bro.

“So what if he hates her?” Shaq ended. Take care of yourself. Like, don’t pick on that little child, but I don’t mind you doing your job, just like everyone else. Because—guess what? I’m here to keep her safe. Pick on me now. I’m going to smack you in the f*cking face if you continue to pick on me.”

After Caitlin Clark hard-fouled Angel Reese during a game in May, Robert Griffin III became increasingly critical of her. Shaq claims the drama isn’t “real hate.” The two have been competitors on the floor since their college days. “If you look around [at] what’s going on in this real country, that’s hate,” he stated on the show. It’s sports. It is not appropriate for me to like you.

Robert Griffin III has previously been criticized by Shaquille O’Neal for his criticism of Angel Reese. The identical topic was the subject of a prior social media battle between him and ESPN’s Ryan Clark.
