Young Noble, Tupac Shakur’s protégé, committed suicide with a gunshot to the head on the morning of July 4, according to TMZ Hip Hop. The Outlawz rapper’s wife told authorities at the scene that he had been suffering from severe depression.
According to police documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Gwinnett County cops responded to a 911 call at 9 a.m. on Independence Day after someone reported seeing a man laying dead in a pool at a country club in Snellville, a far suburb of Atlanta.
Police said they discovered a male in tan cargo shorts and a black T-shirt buried near the bottom of the pool, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the right side of his head.
A spent round casing and a little black Beretta Tomcat.32 pistol were found on the bottom of the pool, roughly a foot away from the victim, according to police.

Young Noble’s wife told officers that she last spoke with Noble around 2 a.m., when he said he was “going to drive around to clear my head”… but he never returned, and her calls went to voicemail.
She mentioned that Young Noble used to work in the music industry, but things had gotten worse. She told investigators that she had actively sought therapy for him due to his rising sadness.

She said Young Noble typically watched over the kids while she went to work because they have an autistic child who cannot be left alone, but when he didn’t return, she opted to drop them off at a relative’s house, where she subsequently found his parked car.
Noble’s daughters also stated that their father was sad and experiencing financial difficulties.
The 47-year-old is the fifth member of the Outlawz, including Tupac, to die. Several years after Tupac’s death, the trio issued its only major-label album, “Still I Rise,” which addressed issues such as African-American poverty, teenage pregnancy, and, unfortunately, suicide.
He was also an advocate for diabetes prevention till his death. Young Noble’s family has already created a GoFundMe campaign to compensate expenses.
