Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Conner will definitely see each other again.
Fast & Furious franchise star Vin Diesel (who portrayed “Dom” Toretto) attended Paul Walker’s (who played Brian O’Conner) brother Cody Walker’s automobile festival, Fuel Fest, and provided details on what fans may expect from the 11th Fast film.
The actor began by revealing the expected release date. “I was at Universal Studios yesterday… The studio asked me, “Vin, could we please have the finale of Fast & Furious [in] April 2027?” I stated, ‘Under three conditions because I’ve been listening to my fan base.'”

“The first is to bring the franchise back to L.A.,” he stated shortly thereafter. “The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing.”
Diesel ended with his final wish: “The third thing was reuniting Dom and Brian O’Conner.” That is what you will get in the finale.”
On November 30, 2013, Paul died in an automobile accident in Valencia, California. He was forty. Paul was reprising his part as Brian in Universal’s Fast & Furious 7 when tragedy struck. However, the seventh film was able to properly send off his character by having Dom and Brian converse before driving away in opposite ways. To do this, the film employed CGI, VFX artists, and his two brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, to produce 350 shots.

Joe Letteri, VFX supervisor, explained to The Hollywood Reporter in 2015 how they were able to memorialize Paul by having his character appear in the finale sequence. The final key component was the discourse. “Most of the CG shots had some kind of dialogue,” Letteri said. “The sound editors had to craft the vocal performance out of [existing] dialog from Paul, and we had to animate to that.”
