According to the “Iced Coffee Hour” podcast, Jake Paul has been trying to buy a ranch for the past 15 years.
Jake Paul just improved his record to 12-1 by defeating Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., and he also had one of his dreams come true around the same time. According to USA TODAY, he recently purchased a vast ranch property in the Southlands near Bainbridge, Georgia for $39 million.
The boxer and influencer apparently planned to acquire a ranch for the previous 15 years, as he mentioned in an Iced Coffee Hour podcast interview. “It’s kind of been my dream and the reason I work so hard,” explained the boxer. “[It’s] a little bit bigger than what I wanted, but when I got there, I was like, ‘I have to buy this.'”
Furthermore, the ranch, which covers 5,653 acres, was advertised for $42.5 million in October of last year. According to the Tallahassee Democrat, it’s a “sport hunter’s paradise,” with plenty of bobwhite wild quail, turkey, and whitetail deer. It also has a 20-acre fishing pond and a 30-acre duck pond.
This study also includes comments from property expert Jon Kohler regarding how few properties can provide “long-term wealth like owning a property such as Southlands.” He expounded on “one of America’s most iconic sporting properties” in a social media message after the Paul brothers’ purchase.
“While we can see the financial appreciation, what only the seller can measure is the immense intrinsic value,” Kohler told me. “Lifestyle, experiences, and memories. That’s the most essential type of wealth. And it is exactly what Southlands will provide for Jake, his family, and his friends. […] Southlands has long been a crown jewel of American land stewardship, dating back to its founding by Herbert Stoddard in 1937 and serving as International Paper’s flagship property. And with Jake Paul’s passion and dedication to conservation, its future has never looked brighter.”
We’ll see how long it takes Jake Paul to post this on his social media pages. It appears to be a fantastic location and a fitting tribute to his efforts. We’ll see what the next great fight is, and what other undertakings and huge actions will result in additional rewards.
