After viewing a documentary that chronicles the gruesome murder of a mother in Argentina, true crime enthusiasts are incensed.
The three-part series, which the streaming service refers to as a “documentary series about one of the most shocking femicides in Argentine history,” provides viewers with a “deeper understanding” of Nora Dalmasso.
A 51-year-old woman was discovered deceased in her daughter’s chamber in the city of Río Cuarto in November 2006. She was discovered wearing only a Rolex watch, having been strangled with the cloth belt of her gown.
Dalmasso was discovered deceased by a neighbor on Sunday after she had been out with companions the previous weekend.
The police subsequently determined that she had been murdered the day prior to her discovery.
Additionally, no indications of forced entry or disturbance were observed. The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso, a documentary about the case, has been released on Netflix.

Dalmasso’s murder sparked a media frenzy, and the investigation became headline news. Nevertheless, the initial investigation was greeted with controversy from the public and political figures, as reported by Hello! Magazine.
Marcelo Macarrón, Dalmasso’s spouse, and her son, Facundo Macarrón, were both falsely accused of her murder.
Macarrón was acquitted in July 2022 due to a lack of evidence, and it was also discovered that he was participating in a golf competition in Uruguay at the time of her death, according to the publication.

In 2007, Facundo was charged with aggravated sexual abuse and homicide. However, his family lawyers maintained that he was innocent and refuted the assertion that there was DNA evidence at the house. Defense attorney Tirso Pereyra stated, as reported by The Mirror US, “Of course, his genetic profile was in the house.” The child resided there.
Dalmasso’s assassination remains unsolved eighteen years later, and the mismanagement of the case resulted in the resignations of more than a dozen police officers and prosecutors.

According to Netflix, the documentary features first-hand accounts from Dalmasso’s children, Facundo and Valentina Macarrón, as well as her spouse Marcelo, in order to tell this true crime story.
Close friends, investigative journalists, and crucial figures from the police and judicial systems also share their testimonies.
Viewers have been profoundly affected by The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso, and they are now advocating for Dalmasso’s “justice.”
