Oakley, an eyewear manufacturer, has partnered with Meta to introduce a new product line of performance artificial intelligence spectacles.

The Oakley Meta HSTN (pronounced HOW-stuhn) is a product that integrates Meta’s AI technology with Oakley’s design DNA. This combination allows users to capture hands-free action with the built-in camera and share their unique perspective.
The Oakley Meta HSTN spectacles will be priced at $499 and will include chatbot Meta AI and Ultra HD (3K) video cameras. They will make their début on Friday, July 11, and the remainder of the collection is scheduled to be released later this summer, with prices commencing at $399.
The spectacles will be initially introduced in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. Mexico, India, and the United Arab Emirates will be included in the list of countries that will be added later this year.

The Oakley Meta HSTN spectacles will also include an IPX4 water resistance rating and powerful open-ear speakers that are seamlessly integrated into the frames.
The spectacles will have a battery life of up to eight hours of typical use and up to 19 hours on standby. They will be capable of charging to a maximum of 50% in just 20 minutes and will be supplied with a charging case that can provide up to 48 hours of on-the-go charging.
Oakley is initiating a marketing campaign for its new Meta HSTN spectacles, which will feature Team Oakley athletes Kylian Mbappé, Patrick Mahomes, Gabriel Medina, and J.R. Smith, among others.

Oakley has joined Ray-Ban in the development of a performance AI eyewear product line that is equipped with Meta AI. Since its introduction in October 2023, Meta Ray Ban spectacles have been sold in excess of 2 million pairs as of February 2025. The company’s objective is to manufacture 10 million Meta glasses annually by the conclusion of 2026.
