In the inaugural trailer for Deliver Me From Nowhere, Bruce Springsteen is depicted by Jeremy Allen White in all his splendor.
On October 24, 20th Century Studios will release the biopic film directed by writer Scott Cooper in theaters. White, who is recognized for his Emmy-winning performance in The Bear, portrays Springsteen and performs his own vocals. Jeremy Strong portrays Jon Landau, the musician’s longstanding manager and record producer.
Deliver Me From Nowhere centers on the creation of Nebraska, one of the most acclaimed albums of all time, which was released by Bruce Springsteen in 1982. The album is both spare and profoundly personal. The ensemble cast includes Stephen Graham, Odessa Young, Paul Walter Hauser, Gaby Hoffmann, Johnny Cannizzaro, Harrison Gilbertson, Marc Maron, David Krumholtz, and Chris Jaymes.
In April, CinemaCon premiered footage from the film, which featured White’s stirring rendition of Springsteen’s 1975 single “Born to Run.” This rendition became the singer’s first Top 40 success on the Billboard Hot 100.

White declares in the trailer that the album does not require perfection. I would like to experience the sensation of being alone in the chamber. Strong’s Landau later characterizes Nebraska by stating that Springsteen is “repairing that hole in himself” with the album. After completing that task, he intends to repair the entire world.
Cooper directed the project from his own script, which he adapted from Warren Zanes’ 2023 book of the same name. Cooper, Zanes, and Scott Stuber are among the producers, in addition to Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein of Gotham Group. The film is a collaboration between Springsteen and Landau.
As previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter, record producer Dave Cobb, who has collaborated with Springsteen, is involved in the film’s music.
White described the production of the film as a “dream come true” during his CinemaCon appearance, commenting, “I feel really lucky.” We all received Bruce’s approval for this film.
