Finally, the judge has made up his mind about whether or not to give Diddy a mistrial, and he is strongly opposing the disgraced music mogul.

Judge Arun Subramanian told Diddy, “Hell no,” as the twentieth day of his federal trial for sex trafficking and racketeering began on Tuesday.

Recall that the entire matter was brought to light last week when Cassie’s friend Bryana Bongolan testified that Diddy had dangled her over the edge of a 17th-floor balcony at Cassie’s Los Angeles condominium on or around September 26, 2016.

Diddy’s defense team produced text conversations between Cassie and Diddy’s former head of staff, Kristina Khorram, which cast doubt on Cassie’s earlier testimony that she saw Diddy holding Bongolan over the edge of the balcony.

Cassie claimed in one text that she never witnessed the purported balcony event, writing, “I just found out some crazy s***.”

Naturally, Diddy’s attorneys took advantage of the disparity and filed a move for a mistrial, accusing the prosecution of providing testimony that they knew—or should have known—was untrue.

Prosecutors were also criticized by Diddy’s defense for allegedly displaying pictures of Bongolan’s injuries sustained after the alleged balcony incident.

According to the lawyers, the photos’ information demonstrates that Diddy was on the East Coast, not the West Coast, on September 26, 2016.

Diddy’s Saturday petition for a mistrial has not yet received a response from the prosecution, however they did explain in court that Cassie’s text appeared to suggest the balcony incident happened on or around September 29 or 30, 2016.

Judge Subramanian declined to consider her statement to be perjury on Tuesday morning, pointing out that Bongolan had acknowledged using narcotics extensively, especially during the relevant time period. He stated, “This happened years ago” and, “Thank God she’s sober.”

As you are aware, Diddy is on trial for a number of criminal offenses, such as sex trafficking and racketeering.
