Regarding the re-recorded version of her 2017 album “Reputation,” Taylor Swift recently provided an update.
Swifties have had an amazing couple of days as their icon ultimately bought back all of her masters. The Grammy Award winner wrote a poignant statement and shared it on her official website to commemorate the milestone. Swift made some unexpected announcements on the future of the “Reputation” (Taylor’s Version) album in the handwritten letter.
According to Taylor Swift, the re-recording of “Reputation” is going well.

In a recent letter to her fans, Taylor Swift revealed some significant information about the “Reputation” re-recording, which will be included in her “Taylor’s Version” re-recordings. The singer’s announcement that she had finally purchased back all of her masters was immediately followed by the letter. “What about Rep TV?” was one of Swifties’ most pressing issues, which she briefly addressed. “Full transparency: I haven’t even re-recorded a quarter of it,” she then abruptly disclosed.
With the release of the “Reputation” album on November 10, 2017, Swift went into greater detail about the re-recording situation. “The Reputation album was so specific to that time in my life, and I kept hitting a stopping point when I tried to remake it,” the international musician disclosed. “All that defiance, that desperately held hope, that shame-born snarl and mischief, that desire to be understood while feeling purposefully misunderstood,” she continued.

“Reputation” is “the one album in those first six” that the 35-year-old lyricist said “couldn’t be improved upon by redoing it.” Swift clarified that there was no room for improvisation because of “the music, or photos, or videos.” She thus “kept putting it off.” Swift, nevertheless, then hinted at what she might have in store for the next move.
Playing with the notion of releasing “vault” songs from the album, she stated, “There will be a time (if you’re into the idea) for the unreleased Vault tracks from that album to hatch.” The vocalist continued by discussing her first record. The performer declared, “I’ve already re-recorded my entire debut album.” “When the time is right, those two albums can still have their moment to shine again.”
“If it happens, it won’t be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have,” Swift teased hopefully. Now, it will only be a party.
