Korie Robertson discussed Phil Robertson’s health just days prior to his passing at the age of 79.
She informed The Post last week that Phil’s health was “declining very rapidly.”
Alzheimer’s disease was among the numerous ailments that Phil encountered.
Korie, 51, who is married to Phil’s son, Willie, 53, stated that it was “so difficult to watch” as Phil was dying.
She continued, “However, he is so cherished, and the entire family is enveloping him and providing him with exceptional care.”

On Sunday night, Korie and Willie verified Phil’s passing on Instagram.
The Robertson family expressed their joy in the post, stating, “We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord.”
The statement continued, “We are grateful for the love and prayers of the many individuals whose lives have been influenced by his life, which was saved by grace, his bold faith, and his desire to share the Good News of Jesus with all who would listen.” “We are appreciative of his earthly existence and will maintain the tradition of love for God and others until we meet him again.”
The family further stated, “We are aware that a significant number of you have been affected by his life and have developed a deep affection for him.” We are currently conducting a private service; however, we will provide information regarding a public commemoration of his life in the near future.

“Duck Dynasty,” the popular reality series that aired for 11 seasons from 2012 to 2017, is returning for a series revival. Duck Dynasty: The Revival, which has already been renewed for a second season and premieres on June 1 at 9 p.m. on A&E, revisits the Robertson family.
The Robertson family places a high value on “faith, family, and ducks,” as they state in the program.
The revival series is currently focused on Korie, Willie, their six adult children, and their eight grandchildren.
The Robertson family, who operate the Duck Commander hunting and outdoor recreation enterprise in West Monroe, Louisiana, were the subject of the original “Duck Dynasty.”
In 2013, the Season 4 premiere garnered more than 11 million viewers.

Phil was a member of the original program and was responsible for the establishment of the family business with a patented duck call. However, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in recent years.
“He is currently unable to participate in the program,” Korie informed The Post.
She also mentioned that she visited Phil with her daughter, Sadie, who was 27 years old, shortly before his demise.
“He is no longer expressing himself as frequently.” She elaborated, “He does not speak frequently.”
However, she remembered that Phil “looked up and said something like, ‘full steam ahead.'” “It was exceedingly sweet.”
“He did not say anything else that made sense; however, he simply said that to [Sadie], and it was truly special.”

She clarified that the family was “savoring” those moments with him.
Phil was married to Kay Robertson, who was 77 years old. Their four adult offspring were Willie, 53, Jase, 55, Jep, 46, and Alan.
Phil also disclosed that he had a secret daughter, Phyllis, 50, who was the result of an affair in the 1970s.
Korie disclosed that her mother-in-law, Kay, is also experiencing distress.
“She appears in numerous early episodes of this season,” Korie clarified, alluding to “Duck Dynasty: The Revival.”
“She also experienced some health issues as the season progressed.” And she has been unable to participate in the program any longer,” she continued. “We are grateful that Kay was able to participate in some of the earlier episodes, and we will hold them in high regard.”
