District Judge Joanne Hirst determined that GBH was “too serious” an offense to be heard at a magistrates’ court and established a new court date for Southwark Crown Court in London on 13 June, as reported by Manchester Evening News.

The 36-year-old’s legal team maintained that he was not a flight risk and would adhere to the terms of his parole. Nevertheless, his bail was denied, and he was remanded in custody until the subsequent court date.

The court was informed by prosecutor Hannah Nicholls that Brown is purportedly responsible for the assault of music producer Abe Diaw with a bottle at the Tape nightclub in London on February 19, 2023.

She claimed that he struck Diaw with the container “multiple times” before punching and kicking him, along with another individual.

Ahead of his forthcoming tour in Europe and the United Kingdom, the Forever singer arrived in Manchester by air. He was initially scheduled to commence his Breezy Ball XX tour in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 8 June, and subsequently tour Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.

The tour’s status has not yet been disclosed.
