After seemingly losing control of the right half of his face, Lil Nas X resorted to social media.

On Monday night, the rapper shared a video from his hospital bed with the comment, “Soooo lost control of the right side of my face.”

The rapper appeared to be in a good mood in his video, as he humorously addressed his inability to move the right side of his face. “This is me doing a full smile right now by the way,” he said, grinning and grabbing his jaw. “I can’t even laugh properly, bro. It’s like what the f—. What the f—? Oh! God, please.”

He later informed his 10.4 million followers in a string of Instagram stories that it was not a huge thing and that they shouldn’t be concerned about him.

The first narrative features a close-up of the musician’s face with the text overlay, “I’m so cooked.” “We normal over here,” he says in the video, laughing. Here, we get nuts.

He wrote in another post, “Guys, I’m all right! Don’t feel sorry for me! Instead, shake your ass for me.

“Imma look funny for a lil but but that’s it,” he wrote beside a selfie he sent from the hospital.

His famous pals expressed their worries and best wishes in the comments area. A lot of people speculated that the rapper might have Bell’s palsy.

Is Bell’s palsy the cause? It’s not hilarious if that’s the case. Holly Robinson Peete wrote, “I hope you recover quickly.”

Henson, Taraji P., wrote, “Get well baby.”

The “Old Town Road” performer posted an update on Wednesday morning, stating that while things had improved, they were still not entirely fixed.

He said that he had been chewing gum to build up some facial muscles, saying, “It’s much better. Even if my eye still needs to catch up, it’s fantastic that I can smile honestly.”

Bell’s palsy “is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face,” according to the Mayo Clinic. Usually, the weakness is temporary and gets better over a few weeks. Half of the face appears to droop due to the weakness. One-sided smiles are difficult to close, and the afflicted eye is difficult to close.
