A terrifying event occurred on Delta Airlines when a jet crashed and overturned after landing.
Emergency personnel can be seen responding to the aircraft flipping over on a snowy runway in footage from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
The Delta commercial jet’s exterior is charred, smoke is streaming from the fuselage, and it looks like the wings and tail have been broken off.
According to the airport, the incident occurred Monday during the landing of a Delta flight from Minneapolis.
After a storm over the weekend, the airfield is being cleared of snow and ice, and it appears that the weather may have had an impact.
Thankfully, according to Toronto Pearson, “all passengers and crew are accounted for.”
