After a well-documented health crisis, Cameron Diaz is returning from her protracted Hollywood break partnering Jamie Foxx for a new Netflix film, also marking his major comeback.
Adrenaline-packed, the teaser for “Back in Action” — a completely apt name for both of them — shows Cameron coming out of her 11-year acting break swinging and kicking some major butt with Foxx.
The film revolves on Emily and Matt, who, years after leaving their CIA spy life behind to begin a family, find themselves drawn back into the espionage scene after their cover is compromised.
Over the trailer, people are frenzy online, excited to watch Cameron’s first movie since “Annie,” which Foxx also starred in.
First revealed in 2022, this film has long been awaited; filming starts that December. Naturally, though, production stopped in April 2023 when Jamie was hospitalized following a mystery medical crisis.
Jamie returned on set in January, and now that “Back in Action” dropped on Netflix January 17, fans can at last get their hands on all the explosive chaos.
