Denzel Washington clearly belongs in that conversation, and the high-profile jobs he’s landed over the course of his long career have helped. From Remember the Titans to his own film franchise, The Equalizer, he has demonstrated his versatility on numerous occasions. He will soon return to the big screen thanks to his work in Gladiator II, which opens on November 22. He will play Macrinus in the Ridley Scott-directed film, which will star Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Joseph Quinn, and others.
Denzel and his co-stars, Connie and Pedro, were on Australia’s version of the Today show to talk about the film, which is set to be released soon. However, near the end of the program, Mr. Washington made an unexpected announcement. According to AllHipHop and the actor himself, he is set to play another character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). To be more explicit, Denzel Washington will appear in the upcoming Black Panther 3. He mentions it about 4:00 in the video below.

Marvel has not made an official announcement for the film. He does, however, suggest that Ryan Coogler, the director of the previous movie, is already scripting his portion. “Ryan Coogler is writing a part for me in the next Black Panther,” Washington revealed to the TV station. This stunning news came after the famed actor revealed his long-term career aspirations.
“At this point in my career, I only want to work with the greatest. I’m not sure how many more films I’ll make; probably not very many. I want to do things I haven’t done before. One of them is to appear in a superhero film, which we are eagerly anticipating. Of course, the late and great Chadwick Boseman headed the Black Panther series. He had a lot of regard for Washington, and they were close before he died. Overall, it just makes everything better.
