Texas rap is alive and well, thanks to rising rapper That Mexican OT, who takes his trademark swagger and lyrical ability to his latest track and video, “War Wounds.”

The Bay City native collaborates with fellow Texas rappers Maxo Kream and Lil’ Keke, delivering fast-paced, tongue-twisting lyrics over Bankroll Got It’s synth-heavy music. The song exemplifies OT’s Texas background, where his confidence and grit shine: “So many war wounds from these wars, they probably think that I’m emo.”

Lil’ Keke and Maxo Kream join OT, showcasing their Texas patriotism with equally hard-hitting lines. The accompanying music video, made by DGreen Filmz, depicts the three refining fighting techniques at a paintball facility, transforming a simulated conflict into a genuine warning to the opposition.
