Recently, the number of scammers targeting clients of significant cable TV companies has increased. One of the most recent examples has been callers offering to offer clients 50% off internet for a year if they prepay six months in advance.

A new scam is targeting customers, with Spectrum customers being the primary target. Callers have recently been contacting Spectrum subscribers, claiming that their plan’s discount is about to expire and that they must switch plans and pay money to save money.

Be wary of anyone contacting and claiming that you may save money by paying them, especially if they ask you to do it with a gift card.
