Journey has canceled their UK and Ireland tour.

The ‘Any Way You Want It’ trio was scheduled to begin their tour on October 30 at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales, but they have advised fans to seek refunds from their point of purchase after being forced to cancel.

The statement continued: “Due to circumstances beyond the band’s control, Journey’s UK and Ireland tour is unfortunately cancelled.”Refunds will be issued from your point of purchase.”

The canceled tour comes after Jonathan Cain sued guitarist Neal Schon in their latest legal dispute.

On July 30, documents were filed in a Delaware court, with the former requesting a third director for their jointly owned Freedom 2020 corporation in order to resolve allegations of financial mismanagement.

In recent years, the organization has faced a number of legal issues.

Last year, former member Steve Perry abandoned his case against his former comrades.

The artist, who was the rock band’s main singer from 1977 to 1987 and again from 1995 to 1998, and co-wrote many of their successes, sued Cain and Schon in September 2022 over the trademarks of 20 of their most popular songs and their use on products.

He accused the pair of “fraud on the trademark office” and claimed they failed to obtain his permission to use the trademarks.

He later withdrew the case.

Schon also filed a cease and desist order against Cain for performing at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.

The lead guitarist was not impressed when the keyboardist performed ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ at the former President’s Florida property, because Journey “is not, and should not be, political.”

Cain’s wife, Paula White-Cain, was a spiritual advisor to Trump, and his bandmate accused him of “unauthorised affiliation of Journey” with Trump’s ideology.

Schon claimed it had caused “irreparable harm” to the group’s brand and “earning potential”.

Cain fired back, accusing his bandmate of lying.

He answered as follows: “Schon is just frustrated that he keeps losing in court and is now falsely claiming the song has been used at political rallies.”

In March 2020, Journey sacked longtime bassist Ross Valory and drummer Steve Smith for allegedly plotting a “malicious and very ill-conceived” coup to seize control of the band’s copyright from Cain and Schon.

Valory, who was also fired by the band in 1985 and replaced by Randy Jackson, and Smith eventually filed countersuits.
