Mama June Shannon’s daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird’s marriage is ending.
On August 1, the Mama June: Family Crisis star filed for divorce from Josh Efird, her spouse of six years. In a settlement agreement seen by PEOPLE, Lauryn stated that the couple had been in a “bona fide state of separation” since July.
Lauryn, 24, and Josh, 28, have four children together: Ella, 6, Bentley, 3, and twins Sylus and Stella, who are two years old. They have agreed to share shared legal and physical custody. According to the settlement agreement, they have already agreed on a “parenting plan”. They also both waived their right to seek child support.
Josh has been given 60 days to remove his items from the family’s shared house in Georgia, as Lauryn will take over the property herself, according to the documents.
Lauryn has frequently lauded her husband’s parenting skills on social media. While she has posted less and less this year, in a June 2022 post, she referred to Josh as the “BEST father I’ve known.”
“All my life, I begged to God to send me someone with whom I could start a family and love forever, and he sent you. “Thank you for being the best father to all of our babies, especially Alana,” she said in the post, referring to her younger sister, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson. “You have never failed to demonstrate the students what a real man is. I’ll be forever grateful to you. You are so loved by myself and the kids. ❤️❤️❤️.”

Lauryn and Josh’s relationship is depicted on the current season of WEtv’s Mama June: Family Crisis. However, the most recent installment has focused on how the family is dealing with the death of Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell in December.
Anna was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal cancer last year and died some months later. She was 29.
In the show’s July 12 episode, Pumpkin admitted she’s “still not okay” as she mourns the loss of her bigger sister. “Getting the call that her cremains are ready is like, ‘What the f—?'” “I know life has to go on, but I just hope this doesn’t set me back, because I just got out of that funk,” she remarked.
Lauryn’s divorce comes as she and her sisters continue to speculate about their mother’s marriage. Mama June Shannon has been married to Justin Stroud for two years, but on an April edition of the show, Lauryn and Alana agreed that their mother’s lies could end her marriage.
“I thought he was going to divorce her right then and there,” Alana, 18, told her sister after the girls saw a furious argument between Mama June, 44, and Justin, 36, over Alana’s Coogan account. “If she doesn’t quit the f—ing lying and really get her f—ing life together, I’m telling you, Justin’s gonna leave her.”
