The entire internet appears to be dunking on Ingrid Andress following her awful performance of the National Anthem, but one person remains in her defense… Roseanne Barr.

As you know, Ingrid was repeatedly mocked Monday for her anthem performance at the MLB All-Star Home Run Derby, an incident that took a more serious turn Tuesday, when the singer disclosed she was drunk at the time and will be going to rehab.

Even before that revelation, Roseanne defended Ingrid, telling TMZ that the song is the “hardest in the world” to do… and RB actually tells us she feels the country singer did quite well.

Also, while many may have sought to crown Ingrid with the title of worst anthem performance, Roseanne proudly reminds us that she believes she is still the queen in that sense, and that this will most likely always be the case.

In case you missed it, the comedian/actress yelled-sang her version of the anthem at a San Diego Padres game in 1990, a spectacle that was widely lambasted by fans, the media, and even then-President George H. W. Bush.

Roseanne’s grasping of her crotch and hawk tuah-ing to button the performance did not help.

In any event, Roseanne hopes Ingrid can withstand the social media storm and feels it’s only a matter of time before another celebrity makes a version that sparks outrage.

In other words, this too will pass.
