While Eminem’s followers celebrate the arrival of his 12th album, the family of slain “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins is likely unhappy that he mentioned her death.

The ninth track on “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” is named “Fuel,” and he concludes the song with a stanza that names Halyna as well as Alec Baldwin, who is now on trial for fatally shooting Halyna on the set of “Rust.”

Em builds up to the searing line by bringing up guns: “Clutchin’ the nine millimeter, tuckin’ the heat.” I got the toaster like an English muffin. No, I mean “toast to” like you drink to anything, but it’s in a holster, so I bust it.”

Then he turns to Hutchins and Baldwin, rapping, “Fk around and get popped like Halyna Hutchins.” Like I’m Alec Baldwin, what I mean is buckling you down, coup de grâce. Right between the fkin’, I shoot ’em all in; if you think you’re f–kin’ with me, you’re going to experience the f–kin’ consequences.”

No question, it’s a relevant reference, as Eminem’s album was released on the third day of Baldwin’s trial.

Prosecutors have accused the actor with involuntary manslaughter, and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has previously been convicted of the same offense. Hannah was sentenced to 18 months’ imprisonment.

Meanwhile, Eminem dissed several other stars on his album, including Megan Thee Stallion, Kendrick Lamar, RuPaul, and Christopher Reeve.

It’s all on-brand… Em has never respected boundaries, thus no one is safe when he rhymes.
