Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian of all time, will join NBCUniversal’s Olympics coverage in Paris this summer. Phelps won 28 Olympic swimming medals, 23 of which were gold.
Phelps will provide commentary and analysis on NBC and Peacock’s daytime and primetime shows, as well as join Dan Hicks and Rowdy Gaines in the booth for some swimming events.
He will be in the booth with Hicks and Gaines in primetime on Friday, June 21, for the Olympic swimming trials in Indianapolis.

Phelps won eight medals at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, and six each at the 2012 and 2016 Games.
He also collaborated with NBC on the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

The Olympics begin July 26 and end August 11.
