Travis Scott was arrested at a Miami Beach marina for disorderly conduct and trespassing, telling authorities, ‘It’s Miami,’ when he admitted drinking.

Rapper Travis Scott was arrested after authorities responded to a complaint of a scuffle on a yacht at Miami Beach Marina about 1 a.m. Scott was discovered standing at the pier, shouting at individuals aboard one of the boats, according to the arrest affidavit. Police said they “could sense a strong smell of alcohol” on Scott’s breath and that he continually defied officers’ orders.

The people on the boat told investigators that they did not want to seek charges and only wanted Scott to leave the property. Scott apparently became “erratic” and began yelling obscenities as he walked backwards away from the yacht, but he returned approximately five minutes later. He apparently ignored several warnings from officers and requests to sit down.

Travis Scott was arrested at 1:17 a.m. on counts of trespassing following a warning and disorderly intoxication. Scott is claimed to have simply informed cops, “It’s Miami,” when he acknowledged to being drunk. He was jailed at 4:35 a.m. and posted a $650 bond.

“There was no physical altercation with anyone,” a source close to the incident stated. “This was a wild party, and Travis had already been bailed out for several hundred dollars. “He’s already home,” they added. “There will be no further action to be taken, as it was a minor incident akin to receiving a ticket with no injuries.”

The arrest came less than a month after Scott and Alexander “AE” Edwards got into a fight at Richie Akiva’s The After afterparty in Cannes, France. Scott reportedly began throwing fists after Akiva shouted out AE and Tyga in the DJ booth but not himself.

“Travis was the aggressor,” one source alleged. “He and his colleagues were extremely neurotic, unpredictable, and insane. He was itching for a battle with anyone, to be honest.” Cher, who is romantically linked to AE, claimed on Twitter that her boyfriend “did not start” the fight.

Travis Scott has been in legal issues since the crowd crush at the 2021 Astroworld festival, which killed ten people. Nine of the ten wrongful death lawsuits filed in connection with the incident have apparently been settled, with over 2,400 injury claims still outstanding.
