President Biden recently addressed the conviction, stating, in part, “So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you care about come out on the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery.”
He continues, “As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal.”
Hunter Biden just walked out of court after being found guilty in his gun case, holding his wife and Jill Biden’s hands and appearing to be in relatively good spirits. A sentencing date has not been scheduled, but the judge allegedly stated that sentencing generally takes place roughly 120 days after a verdict is obtained.
If they stick to that timeline, HB’s sentence would take place in October, not long before the election.
Hunter Biden has received his fate in his federal gun case, and a jury of his peers believes he committed the offenses.
President Biden’s son was just found guilty of all three felony counts of lying on a federal firearms application. The lies concerned his drug use. The jury deliberated for about three hours before convicting Hunter.

Hunter was accused of filling out a document to purchase a revolver in October 2018, declaring that he was not a user or addicted to any restricted substance.
He had pleaded not guilty, and his trial featured lots of salacious testimony.
As previously reported, Hunter’s ex-girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, testified before the jury last week about his drug use, claiming Hunter would consume crack as soon as he got up in 2018, when they were together.
Hunter’s ex said she witnessed him using narcotics in September 2018, just weeks before he purchased the pistol, which was the crux of the case.
He faces up to 25 years in prison, although he will most likely serve only a fraction of that time, if at all, because this is his first conviction of any kind. Of course, Hunter’s father has previously stated that he will not pardon him from his federal conviction.
Hunter’s trial comes after Donald Trump’s historic criminal conviction… and Hunter, like Trump, did not testify in court.
