The Athletic, citing an unidentified source, also reported that the pact includes a “opt-out” clause, but it is unclear whether this belongs to Roku or MLB.
The pact is also said to be somewhat backloaded, with Roku paying $10 million this season, $8 million in 2025, and $12 million in 2026.
Sunday Leadoff premiered on Roku Channel on Sunday, with the Boston Red Sox defeating the St. Louis Cardinals 11-3.
