Colorado safety Shilo Sanders made his acting debut as his father, Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders, in the season finale of BMF, which aired on Starz on Friday.
Deion, also known as “Prime Time” or “Coach Prime,” said earlier this week that Shilo was participating in the crime thriller. The third season’s tenth episode premiered on the Starz app at midnight Friday and will air on Starz at 8 p.m. EDT.
“Shilo Sanders did his thang on BMF,” Sanders tweeted Friday, complimenting his son. “I’m very proud of you, son! Wow! wow! Those Sanders aren’t playing, sweetie.

“You played daddy, dawg! Wow, I’m very proud and proud!”
Shilo, 24, began his college career at South Carolina. He played for his father at Jackson State in 2021 and missed a portion of the 2022 season due to a knee injury.
He has 70 combined tackles, four forced fumbles, three passes defensed, a fumble recovery, and an 80-yard interception for a touchdown in 11 games for the Buffaloes last season. He wears the same number (21), as his father did throughout his Hall of Fame NFL career.
His younger brother, Shedeur, 22, played quarterback for the Buffaloes last season. He also played quarterback for Jackson State under his father.

Shedeur, who is also an aspiring rapper, released his debut single, “Perfect Timing,” on Tuesday. He completed 69.3% of his passes for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions for the 4-8 Buffaloes last season. He also rushed for four touchdowns.
Many early mock drafts for the 2025 NFL Draft had Shedeur predicted as a first-round pick. Shilo is expected to be drafted in the latter rounds.
The Buffaloes will begin their 2024-25 season against North Dakota State on August 29 in Boulder, Colorado.
