Warner Chappell Music has struck a global publishing agreement with singer-songwriter Teddy Swims.
“Lose Control” has been on the Billboard Hot 100 list for more than 30 weeks and is presently at number one. In September 2023, he released his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), on WCM’s sister label Warner Records. It peaked in the top 25 of the Billboard 200 list.

Teddy Swims (born Jaten Dimsdale) has recorded music and toured the world since his debut in 2019. With a distinct sound that combines R&B, soul, country, and pop, he began his career performing with a number of Atlanta-based bands. He later gained a following on YouTube for his song of Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You.”
Swims obtained a record deal with Warner Records in 2019 and began releasing his own original music, including a series of EPs from 2021 to 2022. His third EP, Tough Love, earned his first appearance on the Billboard 200 chart and featured singles like “Love For A Minute” and “911.” The Georgia native emerged to mainstream stardom in 2023, when his breakout hit “Lose Control” topped the charts in the United States and reached the top ten in several other nations.
