Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face’ isn’t as innocent as it appears, and just one radio station picked up on the very X-rated lyrics.
The successful song was launched by the singer in 2009, and it earned her second consecutive number one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song has received over one billion Spotify streams in the 14 years after its release.
However, most people will be unaware that the song should have been restricted on radio stations around the world, including the radio stations themselves.

With this in mind, it was discovered that the song’s X-rated lyrics had been broadcast for millions to hear. Oops.
However, one radio station noticed some offensive language in the song and requested that Lady Gaga – real name Stephanie Germanotta – edit the tune.
The radio station was KIIS FM, and the ‘Just Dance’ singer thanked them for being the only ones to notice it.
Gaga told the crowd at KIIS FM’s 2009 Wango Tango: “KIIS FM is the smartest radio station in the entire world, and I’ll tell you why.”
“Because [Poker Face], it got played all over the world in thousands and tens of thousands of radio stations but KIIS FM is the only one that said I had to censor my lyric because they thought I might be saying something bad.”

She went on to say that of all the stations that played the song, ‘KIIS FM was the only one that got it correctly’.
Which section, I hear you ask, is the harsh lyric?
Well, you know the bridge in Joker 2 where Lady Gaga appears to just repeat ‘p-p-p-poker face’ four times… it turns out she’s actually saying something else.
People are taken aback when they hear the song’p-p-p-poker face, f-f-f**k her face (mum-mum-mum-mah)’.
The video of Gaga admitting the lyrics are X-rated has gone viral, and social media users have expressed their disbelief.
“Well, I was today years old when I learned this, and I’m 29,” one stunned Gaga fan said.
“I can’t unhear it now,” claimed another, while a third added, “My entire teen existence has been shaken.”
Another person continued: “You’re telling me child me was singing this song wrong at the top of my lungs not knowing.”
Others stated that they always knew they were saying the proper thing.
One TikToker wrote, “I KNEW IT!!!!!”
“And everyone thought I was crazy when I said that was the lyric.” “WELL, GUESS WHO WAS RIGHT,” grumbled someone else.
“I thought everyone could hear it, but everyone always argued with me!” said someone else.
