A$AP Rocky Explains How Fatherhood Has Changed His Life

A$AP Rocky’s new single, “Sh***in’ Me,” arrives just in time for the release of his album. Complex recently spoke with the new father about how much his son has changed him on both a personal and professional level.

“I enjoy [fatherhood].” “Everything revolves around my newly discovered love for being a father and a family man,” Rocky, 34, explained. “It’s currently lit. I’m at a loss for words. You see this smile?”

The New York rapper also admitted that having a child gives him more time to devote to side projects. “It’s lovely. “I honestly believe that becoming a father gives me more time to do exactly what I want,” Rocky said. “I don’t have time for anything that isn’t important to me.” To be honest, it helps you prioritize.”

Though he and Rih have kept most details about their child, including his name, under wraps since his birth, the “F**kin’ Problems” rapper has revealed that more information about their personal lives will be revealed “soon.”

According to the Fenty Beauty mogul, their son inspires her to “freestyle” as she returns to her musical roots. Rih is also fine with keeping her family life private.

“The problem is that we want to do regular s**t with our baby.” We’d like to go to the park. We want to go everywhere and take walks and do things as parents with him. “But because we haven’t shared him with the world yet, we have to navigate it extremely, extremely cautiously right now,” she told The Root during a press tour for Savage X Fenty Vol. 4.
