“Hot Shit” by Cardi B is forthcoming. The rapper has specified a date for the release of her newest song and says “another surprise” is on the way.
Cardi posted on social media Sunday night, “My new single ‘Hot Shit’ out everywhere THIS FRIDAY 7/1.” (June 26). The article included a brief teaser video.
She teased with a winking emoji, “I got another surprise for yall tomorrow 8pm, tune in.”
The musician’s first single since “Up,” which climbed at No. 1 for a week on the Billboard Hot 100 songs list in March 2021, will be “Hot Shit.” “WAP,” which topped the Hot 100 for four weeks in 2020, was followed by “Up.”
Her full-length debut album, Invasion of Privacy, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 albums list in 2018, has been eagerly anticipated by fans. She said they will be informed in May when she had news to share. She noted on Twitter that she would only discuss things as they became public.
